Recently named one of Variety’s “Top 40 Dealmakers of 2011”, Dominic Ianno is CEO and Founder of Indomitable Entertainment, a film financing, branded entertainment, and media strategy/consulting firm. Ianno’s recent executive production credits include highly successful inspirational family film Soul Surfer (Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Anna Sophia Robb), thriller The Whistleblower (based on a true story, starring Rachel Weisz and Monica Belluci), teen comedy The Secret Lives of Dorks (Jim Belushi, Jennifer Tilly), and the Broadway debut of Truman Capote’s Breakfast at Tiffany’s starring Emilia Clarke (HBO’s “Game of Thrones”). Current projects include the elevated action thriller Grizzly (James Marsden, Billy Bob Thornton), prestige drama Little Rootie Tootie (Christopher Walken, Uma Thurman), action romancer Mercedes about the birth of the famous car with director Roger Donaldson (No Way Out, The Bank Job), family sports drama Two-A-Days inspired by a true story featuring the Dallas Cowboys, and biopic A Quiet Passion of famous poet Emily Dickenson. Other films he was previously involved with include Tenure, Spin, and I Hate Valentine's Day.
Ianno is concurrently the CEO of the public charity TrueSpark (which he co-founded), the mission of which is to encourage youth aged 11 to 18 to view movies with positive messages and inspirational lessons that build character and foster ethical development. Ianno also sits on the board of digital entertainment company Revenue.com.
Dominic’s early career included roles as Head of Strategy for Outlaw Productions, where he worked alongside the late Bobby Newmyer, and as Senior Vice President for Artisan Digital Media. Dominic Ianno is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Carnegie Mellon's management program, and a current member of the Producers Guild of America.
An entrepreneur by nature, Ianno kick-started his career by founding 2D Interactive, Inc, an advertisement and poster sales firm that operated via electronic kiosks in over 400 stores, a business launch for which he raised $8 million as a principal.
As President of Film at Indomitable Entertainment, Stuart Pollok runs its executive producing and film consulting businesses. Pollok most recently executive produced the elevated action thriller Grizzly (James Marsden, Billy Bob Thornton). As lead producer or executive producer, Stuart is currently financing and/or packaging the following slate of projects: an adaptation of the classic Sir Walter Scott novel Ivanhoe with director Iain Softley (Inkheart, Wings of a Dove), action romancer Mercedes about the birth of the famous car with director Roger Donaldson (No Way Out, The Bank Job), prestige drama Little Rootie Tootie (Christopher Walken, Uma Thurman), family sports drama Two-A-Days inspired by a true story featuring the Dallas Cowboys, and the Emily Dickinson biopic A Quiet Passion to be directed by auteur Terence Davies.
Stuart is the former Head of Production at Studio Hamburg International Production (SHIP), the English-language international features division of Studio Hamburg. Stuart conceived and wrote the business plan that lead to the creation of SHIP in 2001 and ran its operations thru 2005. Studio Hamburg was then the largest television producer in Germany. At SHIP, Pollok executive produced The Three Investigators in the Secret of Terror Castle directed by Academy-nominated director Florian Baxmeyer, which was theatrically released by BVI in Europe in 2009, and its predecessor The Three Investigators and the Secret of Skeleton Island, which garnered almost one million theatrical admissions in Germany in 2007. He also executive produced The Conclave (Brian Blessed, James Faulkner) for SHIP and handled production services for the Berlin shoot of the Imagine Entertainment/Disney release Flightplan directed by Robert Schwentke (Jodie Foster).
Prior to SHIP, Stuart produced One Of The Hollywood Ten (Jeff Goldblum, Greta Scacchi) for the BBC. It premiered at the Closing Night of the San Sebastian Film Festival and was distributed theatrically in Europe by BVI.
In the nineties, Pollok worked for producers Bob Rehme and Mace Neufeld at Paramount Pictures, rising to become Executive Vice President of Prelude Pictures. Neufeld/Rehme collectively produced Clear And Present Danger, Patriot Games, The Hunt For Red October, Beverly Hills Copy III, No Way Out, The Omen, etc. At Prelude, Stuart originated and shepherded to production Lost In Space for New Line Cinema, Black Dog for Universal Pictures and Judicial Consent for Rysher Entertainment/HBO. Lost In Space grossed over $150 million theatrically worldwide.
Stuart is a former member of the New York Bar. He practiced mergers & acquisitions and international finance law in New York at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison and Linklaters. He is a graduate of the Peter Stark Producing Program at USC.
As Vice President of Business & Creative Affairs and co-founder of Indomitable, Robert Deege works across the executive producing, consulting, film, TV and Digital divisions. Robert typically co-produces Indomitable’s films – his most recent credits include the elevated action thriller Grizzly (James Marsden, Billy Bob Thornton), teen comedy The Secret Lives of Dorks (Jim Belushi, Jennifer Tilly), and inspirational family film Soul Surfer (Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt, Anna Sophia Robb). Within the film division, Robert overseas incoming submissions and development, leads the creation of sales and marketing materials, sources new projects and partners, and manages the company’s film assets. As Chief of Staff, Robert liaises between division heads and support staff and overseas weekly company reporting.
Before Indomitable, Deege worked as a Production and Finance Consultant for Blowtorch Entertainment, working with the heads of the Development, Finance, Digital Content, and Theatrical Distribution departments. Blowtorch produced and distributed Tenure (Luke Wilson, Gretchen Mol) and Spin (Bijou Phillips, Amber Heard).
Previously at Mind & Media, Deege produced and directed award-winning documentaries and training films for clients such as The National Guard and The Pentagon Force Protection Agency. The film "Basic Combat Training", an innovative edgy depiction of boot camp took the highest overall honor in the Department of Defense – "Best Production of the Year" for 2005.
As a Producer at Discovery Communications, Robert produced, directed, wrote, and/or edited numerous shows, including Best Place to Watch a Volcano (Travel Channel), Behind the Terror (Discovery Channel), Hollywood Spotlight (Discovery HD Theater), Mystery of the Shroud (TLC), Tribal Journeys (series for Travel Channel), Solar Science (series for Science Channel), etc.
Deege first got his start at Cerebellum Corporation, initially as DP and editor, rising to supervising editor, and then director on over 20 feature length videos that were a blend of narrative, comedy, and educational.
As an independent Filmmaker, Deege directed the short film "Sobering" which played in several festivals, garnering awards for both screenplay and film, and produced several other short films. Robert also edited the award-winning feature film "Standalone", which was picked up for digital distribution by Cinetic Media.
Rob has a BS in Statistics and Economics from Virginia Tech, is AVID certified in editing, and has trained as a director under Judith Weston.
Alan Youngstein serves as COO for Indomitable Entertainment, overseeing all financial and administrative matters for the company. Alan’s background is in film and television production and distribution, as well as in operating broadcast and cable entities.
Prior to joining Indomitable, Youngstein has held senior finance and operational positions with NBC Universal, The Weinstein Company, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Fox Television Stations and CBS.
Alan has an MBA from New York University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Boyd is Senior Vice President at Indomitable Entertainment where he heads the digital media division and oversees strategy and business development for the entire organization.
Within the digital media division, Boyd provides strategy and business development services to early stage digital media and entertainment companies such as Ology, the industry’s first truly social, interest based, web platform, and Revenue (formerly Virurl), an early pioneer in the $10B native advertising industry.
Prior to Indomitable, Boyd founded and served as principal of a boutique consulting firm providing strategy and business development advisory services to early stage technology and digital media companies. His clients included RoleStar, Par Works Inc., and TrueSpark.
Boyd is the former founder and CEO of eMedical Lending, Inc. where he raised over $2mm of venture financing and brought to market a technology platform that connects doctors and their patients to multiple sources of financing such as publicly traded banks, credit unions, and specialty finance companies for medical procedures not covered by insurance.
Before his business and entertainment career, Boyd served as a Captain in U.S. Army leading soldiers in many different capacities during a five year career including: Medical Platoon Leader in a light infantry battalion, Healthcare Administrator, and a Protocol Officer for the Commanding General of the U.S. Army, Pacific.
Boyd has an MBA from Harvard Business School and graduated with honors from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point.
Jon Ferro is a senior Executive experienced in the strategic planning and execution of multi-million dollar media business deals with specific expertise in the entertainment and digital media industry. Ferro has expert knowledge of the digital, on-demand and television markets coupled with a highly successful record of negotiating and managing strategic relationships with multi-billion dollar companies. He excels at analyzing market trends and innovations to create high profit businesses relationships and creative marketing solutions.
As recent SVP US Program Sales TV & Digital for eOne, Jon led eOne’s digital and TV sales strategy as the US operation transitioned from a 3rd party rep company to a theatrical, television and digital distribution service. He successfully repositioned the company and secured long term agreements for the theatrical slate with Netflix, guaranteed subscription-on-demand slots for the Redbox/Verizon service, TV video-on-demand distribution with iN Demand (Conmast, Time Warner, Cox), DirecTV and Vubiquity (AT&T, Verizon, Charter) and improved terms for multi-territory digital distribution with Google, Sony and Microsoft. In addition he licensed first run series programming to traditional and digital networks services including NBC/Universal and Hulu and off-network series to services including Netflix. The implementation of his marketing and programming strategies along with the improved margins resulted in over 450% growth in transactional digital quarterly revenue over a 2-year period.
As prior EVP Digital & On-Demand and TV Distribution for Lionsgate, Jon led Lionsgate’s digital and on-demand sales and distribution business from 2004-2011 as the company transitioned from an independent into a mini-major film distributor. He has been responsible for the company's tremendous growth in the cable on-demand and digital VOD and EST platforms. In addition to launching Lionsgate's VOD business with Comcast, Time Warner and other MSO's, Jon established Lionsgate as a leader in monetizing digital rights with deals with Apple iTunes, Microsoft Zune, Sony, and Amazon. In 2008 he further expanded Lionsgate's digital distribution with deals with Hulu and YouTube on an ad-supported basis. Jon was also a member of the negotiation team for the creation of two highly innovative TV/Digital networks; EPIX and FearNet. Under Jon's management, Lionsgate has released over 1,000 films and over 17 series for digital distribution and has expanded the company's digital footprint into the UK, Australia and New Zealand. He was most recently responsible for negotiating the groundbreaking Mad Men license to Netflix. Jon joined Lionsgate following the merger with Artisan Entertainment where he served as Senior Vice President of TV Sales.
